Camote or Sweet Potato Fritters

sweet potato frittersIngredients:

1 1/2 cup shredded camote or sweet potato
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 cup evaporated milk
4 tbsp. sugar
1 beaten egg
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Procedure:

1. Add flour to the shredded camote or sweet potato.
2. Blend the rest and work it into a semi-stiff dough.
3. Drop by spoonfuls in deep fat and fry until golden brown in color.
4. Drain in paper towel.
5. Serve and enjoy!
